Once I have selected a model, I can contact l.i.d., get individual advice and finally select and book the right model together.
If learners are not yet quite sure about their choice, they are welcome to contact l.i.d. so that we can consider together which model makes sense and prepare the registration.
Learners who register for a model at l.i.d. must have an internet connection. They also need a device that can be used for work and has a camera so that learners can work interactively during lessons. Unsure whether the end device meets the requirements? Feel free to contact us.
The costs for the selected model apply. These costs include all services. There are no additional costs for the lessons. l.i.d. is not responsible for any costs relating to your own end device or internet access.

Further questions & answers
Lessons take place via our learning platform. When registering for a model, each learner receives access and can log in via our homepage. Access to this learning platform is included in the price for all learners. Live lessons also take place via the learning platform. This means that all lessons are organized via the learning platform.
Yes, we also draw up timetables so that we can plan and facilitate optimal lessons. In order to take into account as many needs as possible, we create these together. For example, if a learner wants to take courses after work, we try to take these needs into account when creating an individual timetable. The scope of the timetable depends on the model chosen.
Communication generally takes place via our learning platform. Teachers communicate with students in class, both with messages and via course content as well as via video conferencing in live lessons. Apart from this, it is also possible to contact teachers outside the classroom. They are available to everyone via their e-mail address. Additional appointments can also be arranged as required.
On the one hand, learners' performance is assessed in class. For example, learners are given project tasks where the framework conditions are transparent for everyone at the beginning. These then serve as the basis for the performance assessment. In addition, active participation in lessons is reviewed, assessed and documented.
Tests and examinations can also take place, which are also carried out in digital form. Examinations are stored in specially designated documents. In addition, cameras etc. must remain switched on during this process to ensure that the examination situation is monitored.
We are not a school that fulfills compulsory education in Germany. This means that, in terms of age, only students who are "graduates" (Abitur, vocational training,...) or who live abroad and have already completed the 10th grade can register. The l.i.d. team will then check how a start at l.i.d. is possible.
Yes, of course. Social interaction always takes place and is required. In lessons, for example, projects are developed that require social interaction between learners. Opportunities are provided for this social interaction to take place (e.g. via chat on the learning platform and video conferencing). Interaction should also be made possible outside the classroom. The learning platform can be used for this purpose by learners, but also by parents or companies with appropriate access. Therefore, l.i.d. interaction is not only in the name, interaction is constantly encouraged and demanded in selected social forms.
Performance is assessed both in class in the form of points and when working on tasks on the learning platform. Learning at l.i.d. is characterized by gamification. This means that all achievements made by learners are "rewarded" in a playful way. Learners collect points and can earn specific badges (e.g. activity badges, learning badges and communication badges). Collecting points is also used to eventually achieve international certification.
Learners are informed about how many points they can receive for a given performance. Criteria for performance assessment are not only the completion of tasks, but also active participation, social interaction, the contribution of own ideas and creativity. The assessment of performance is transparent for all learners and can be viewed individually at any time on the learning platform.
Learners receive the highest possible level of support at all times. They receive technical support and an individual introduction to the learning platform and the teaching process.
It is also possible for learners to support each other - both methodically and professionally. This internal differentiation takes place at all times due to the choice of methodological approach in lessons. We differentiate not only according to time, but also according to interests and skills, for example, in order to take special needs into account and provide the best possible support.
If learners have a problem (e.g. in dealing with the technology), the l.i.d. team supports the learners in solving this problem in the best possible way. There are always contact persons who are available for the learners and offer technical support.
If there are conflicts between students or between students and teachers, these are resolved in joint discussions. Systemic consultations are then used to find joint solutions to the problem at hand so that everyone involved can come out of the situation on a positive note. To this end, l.i.d. provides trained specialist staff.
Appreciation and meeting as equals are top priorities at l.i.d.. The team is therefore always interested in designing each setting in such a way that as few problems and difficulties as possible arise. Unfortunately, we are not always able to do this, but we do try to solve problems as quickly as possible.
