Our values
As a team at l.i.d., we got together to think about which values are super important to us in our everyday social and professional lives. We quickly realized that these must be the following core values. They're the foundation for effective digital continuing education and digital training. Click on the arrowheads to learn more!

TRANSPARENCY & RELIABILITY
Why are these two values so important to us? It's quite simple. Nothing makes a person feel more insecure than not knowing what the other person wants from them or how they will behave. And to avoid this, we must act transparently and reliably. The values of transparency and reliability can be attributed to the value system of democracy. Here at l.i.d., we also want to interact and work with each other democratically. And that is precisely why transparency and reliability are our top priorities.
CREATIVITY
Without creativity, things quickly become boring. And when boredom sets in, you come to a standstill. Stagnation is the last thing we want here. We want to be creative in what we do. New approaches, new ideas, new implementations—bring it on! Be creative and have confidence in what you do! This leads us to the next values: foresight and self-confidence.
VISION & SELF-CONFIDENCE
The values of foresight and self-confidence can be assigned to the value system of self-awareness. We want all teachers and learners to have a certain degree of self-awareness. In this context, however, we would like to emphasize that this refers to a "healthy" level of self-awareness. It is important to us that individuals' strengths and talents are encouraged in order to strengthen their personalities and enable them to have confidence in their own actions. We clearly distinguish this from self-confidence in the form of selfishness, because in everyday social and professional life, it is only possible to succeed together and not alone.
In order to use your self-confidence in a targeted manner, you also need foresight. Foresight is necessary for assessing a situation and the possible consequences of actions. Social and professional life require foresight, because this is the only way to survive and be successful in the long term. It is therefore very important to rely on your self-confidence and foresight.
COMMITMENT & OPENNESS
These two values can be attributed to the concept of willingness to learn. For us, these two values are interdependent and, particularly in view of our concept, they are indispensable. We cannot expect motivated willingness to learn on the part of both teachers and learners if there is no commitment and openness on the other side. I can only develop and "learn" if my personal attitude is characterized by commitment and openness to new things. Here at l.i.d., we are also breaking new ground. We don't just want to impart specialist knowledge, we want to train learners in such a way that skills for social and professional life are challenged and promoted... and that is only possible if I am committed and open-minded.
INNOVATION
To be successful in the long term, whether personally or professionally, innovation is essential. Only when my thinking and actions are innovative can I achieve my goals. The value of innovation can be assigned to the value system of success. The concept of innovative action and thinking is naturally also associated with other values such as foresight and openness. In line with l.i.d., we want to think and act innovatively in order to become and remain successful at all levels.
EMPATHY
For us, empathy is a value that can be associated with the concept of humanity. Humanity describes a value system related to the desired behavior when interacting with others. Empathy is necessary in order to work together in an appreciative manner. Empathy is often a value that does not receive the greatest recognition in a professional context. However, we believe that it is the key to optimal collaboration.
Best practice: From idea to tangible result
In the "🔗 Work Smart"course with the BOSIG team BOSIG , an initial idea was turned into a tangible product – developed jointly and entirely digitally.
A co-creative process resulted in practical solutions that demonstrate how digital training can work in industry.
From initial designs and CAD corrections to a 3D-printed prototype, the result was a practical learning experience with real added value.
The result: a visible sign of modern continuing education that combines creativity and technology.
This is what co-creation looks like in the digital age— efficient, collaborative, sustainable, and part of modern digital adult education.Learn more here!
