Why artificial intelligence is important
Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) im Berufsalltag prägt zunehmend unsere Arbeit. Mit z.B. ChatGPT, generativen Bildwerkzeugen und zahlreichen Automatisierungstools können Routineaufgaben effizient erledigt und völlig neue Ideen entwickelt werden. Doch viele Beschäftigte stehen vor der Frage, wie sie KI verantwortungsbewusst einsetzen können. Unser Kurs „KI im beruflichen Alltag – Chancen nutzen, Innovation fördern“ bietet einen praxisnahen Einstieg in dieses Thema. Er vermittelt, wie man KI versteht, zielgerichtet nutzt und Ideen entwickelt, die Arbeitsprozesse revolutionieren.
Course objectives
The course has four core objectives:
- Building understanding – Participants learn the basics of AI and its relevance in everyday work. This includes fundamental AI technologies, values, and responsible use.
- Learn about and use practical tools – Through hands-on exercises, participants learn how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly. They practice evaluating customer feedback, creating charts, formulating responses to complaints, and analyzing websites, for example.
- Identify new use cases – In the module "Shaping the future with AI," participants develop ideas for integrating AI into business processes and draw up a concrete action plan. In doing so, they analyze the current status quo, identify potential, and receive support for implementation.
- Strengthen personal and business skills – The training enhances the ability to use AI profitably and responsibly. It supports the achievement of both individual and business goals.
Possible schedule and modules
The course has a modular structure and combines theory with practical exercises. Three main modules form the basic framework:
- Understanding and using AI fairly– This module teaches the basics of artificial intelligence and shows how to use it responsibly. It answers questions such as: What is AI? And what advantages does it offer in a professional context?
- Hands-on with AI tools– Here, participants put AI tools to practical use. They analyze data (e.g., customer feedback), generate charts, formulate responses to complaints, analyze websites for SEO optimization, and create content such as images, product descriptions, and meta tags.
- Shaping the future with AI– In the final module, participants develop an action plan to integrate AI into their work in a long-term and targeted manner. They identify applications, analyze the current situation, and receive tips for implementation.
Learning format and dates
The course takes place online and consists of four sessions, for example:
- Session 1: AI basics & hands-on AI – Introduction to basic concepts and first exercises with ChatGPT.
- Session 2: ChatGPT & Adobe Express with Firefly – In-depth exploration of practical applications with a focus on text and image creation.
- Session 3: AI chatbot/SEO optimization – Application of tools in the context of customer support and website optimization.
- Session 4: Idea workshop – Open brainstorming session in which participants develop their own use cases and receive feedback.
Each session lasts about an hour and takes place via Zoom. In addition, participants receive access to a learning platform that is available around the clock via the web and app. This allows them to review and deepen their understanding of the content at their own pace.

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to use AI in their everyday work—regardless of their industry or previous technical knowledge. Marketing and communications departments will benefit just as much as HR teams and project managers.
